One of, if not, THE most exciting moment in your life. As your Washington DC Birth Photographer, my calm presence will help document these precious moments of meeting your new baby (or babies!) for the first time.

Fresh 48 sessions are the perfect way to document all the tiny details of your new bundle of joy and celebrate siblings meeting baby for the first time too!

Missy offers birth and fresh 48 photography in the Greater DC area, Southern Maryland, Northern VA, and Annapolis.

"We feel so fortunate to have found Missy before giving birth to our second son. She did the most incredible Fresh 48 at the hospital that just blew us away. She captured all the details from his bands, his umbilical cord, the hospital sign, the room number, etc. And more importantly, she captured the emotion and joy of building our family. She worked with us to time my older son walking into the room to meet his baby brother—she captured our very first moments together as a family of four. She also gave our son his own special time—just him, baby and dad, baby and mom, baby and mom and dad, before she did all four. She made our whole family at ease, including a toddler! She was so aware of my comfort- constantly checking in—that it really felt like having a friend with you. The photos she gave made us decide to do a whole album along with prints, because they are just so special. I highly recommend Missy for fresh 48—you will not regret it (though I regret not also having her do birth, too)."
