Northern Virginia Newborn Lifestyle Session

I am so blessed that I get to capture so many precious and sweet moments for babies and families right after they bring their new bundle of joy home.  Another blessing is getting that opportunity for the families of my dear friends.  My college friend Emily told me that her sister, Lauren, was expecting her first baby and was interested in a newborn session!

I am so thankful to be able to provide this service to not only my clients but to friends and their families as well.  Usually business emails tend to stay in the “okay I just have to sit down and power through this until my inbox says zero” category. However, seeing Lauren’s email pop up in my inbox made me super excited to spend time reading and replying!  The planning began and Camden’s due date was written in my planner and I eagerly awaited for his arrival!

One of the many things I love about newborn sessions is getting to see how the nurseries and the decorations.  This little man’s nursery was seriously adorable!  The light paint with a touch a rustic and woodsy decor made for a perfect little man cave- just like the sign! The morning rays shined right in through the window and made you forget about the cold winter breeze outside. The wall shelves held a plethora of children’s books, one of which being a book that Lauren’s dad read to her and her siblings as children.  His crib sheets… I might be a little obsessed haha!  Like, do they come in queen or king sizes?!  And friends…. just WAIT until you see the sign Camden’s auntie Emily made for the nursery.  (Any Drake fans reading this?!)

I had such a wonderful time spending my morning with Camden and his mom and dad while talking all things baby and snuggling Camden!  Enjoy these super sweet moments, friends!
