Kristin and Casey’s May Wedding at The Barn at Cage Stables located in Saint Leonard, Maryland.
May the Fourth be With You. And I’m guessing the force was strong enough to move out the storm clouds that were supposed to be around all day long. I was sure this was going to be my first wedding of the season I photographed with all day rain. But to my surprise, the day was sunny with some clouds and maybe one or two little drops of rain. I just knew this day was going to be amazing!
As soon as I walked into Kristin and Casey’s gorgeous home, I knew her getting ready pictures were going to be gorgeous! This house had the BEST natural light flowing through the windows. Add that to the prettiest light grey wall paint… Hellooo photographer’s dream lighting scenario!
After Kristin and her girls finished getting ready and into their gowns, it was time to head outdoors to capture two very important first looks: one with her Uncle, and one with her Dad. Talk about tear-jerkers! It’s moments like those that make me fall even more in love with wedding photography!
The backdrop for Kristin’s wedding at The Barn at Cage Stables couldn’t have been better for a Southern Maryland wedding… the calm water of the Patuxent River, which made for one perfect bride and groom portrait location!
To wrap up the day’s festivities, Kristin and Casey had their reception in the barn surrounded by their families and friends! The evening was filled with lots of smiles, a whole bunch of dancing, neon glow lights, and the best donuts I have ever had.
Congratulations Kristin and Casey!
